My name is Aimee and I am and always have been a HUGE animal lover! The above photo is of me with my childhood dog, Abigail. She was a very special dog and she bonded with my younger brother and myself as though she were a sibling of ours. She followed us in and out of the brush that filled the mountains where we lived and kept close track of us. She had the best disposition and was an all-around "Good Girl!"
We only have a few photos of her and this is probably one of the most clear ones I could find. Also, note the mid-seventies haircut and patched jeans for time reference for this photo. (By the way, my top was pink and so was the tulip patch on my jeans, the sky was bright blue and the trees were fresh green.) The photo paper it is printed on is not archival and does not show the beautuful color of the Sierras where we lived nor does it show how soft and sweet Abigail's eyes were. I would love to have a clearer, more colorful copy of this photo as an art piece on my wall depicting my relationship with Abigail and how cute we were together.
This is Bennet and his black Labrador. Now this is a frame-worthy portrait of a boy and his dog I took during his senior session right before he moved all the way across the country for college. This image printed and framed by my professional lab will always look this good. When Bennet grows as old as I am, he will be able to look back on this photo and see how happy his dog was to be by his side for this moment before he graduated from high school. A great example of why to choose professional pet portraits!
