What is the preparation process for family sessions?

To prepare for your session we will have a complimentary consultation where we talk about your session in detail. We will go over outfit suggestions, locations, the tone and feel you want to see in your images and any other details that will make this session exceptional. I'm always available to answer any questions you may have, so don't hesitate to send pictures of clothing items or aesthetics you're considering.


I want these photos to represent and express your personalities, so feel free to bring props like blankets, baskets, toys, journal, and even family pets!


What should I expect in the actual family portrait session?

Get ready to have some fun! We’ll meet at your location at the agreed upon time. Please try to be prompt so we can pack in as many great photos as possible. In the rare case of inclement weather that prevents us from shooting, we can reschedule your session. I will guide you through a series of engaging poses and actions during the session, so you don’t need to worry too much about corralling your little ones. I know they won’t sit still for long!


How will I see and choose my images after the session?

Your photos will arrive in a online gallery where you can easily download and share them with loved ones. From there, you’ll also have the option to order prints and books because your memories deserve to be more than just files on a screen. There’s something truly special about holding a photograph in your hands or seeing it displayed in your home, a reminder of the moments that matter most.

 

What if I would like some assistance in choosing and ordering?

If you choose, your family session includes an order session where I can go over images with you and help you order from exclusive, unique photo products to the classic, archive quality printed photos. You can also order matted and framed prints choosing from frame samples here in the studio as well as beautifully crafted canvas wall hangings. 

 

My goal is to make this extremely easy for you to have and enjoy your photos!
